Alawi Named ITA Carolina Region Player to Watch
COLUMBIA, S.C. (May 14, 2012) — Jaklin Alawi from the South Carolina women’s tennis team was named the ITA Carolina Region Player to Watch on Monday.

Alawi led the Gamecocks in singles and doubles victories all season.

DURHAM, N.C. (May 11, 2012) — The No. 30-ranked South Carolina women’s tennis team recorded a 4-1 victory against No. 32 TCU on Friday at Ambler Tennis Stadium in Durham, N.C., in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The 30th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks (15-8) will take on No. 32 TCU (18-5) on Friday at 10 a.m. in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Ambler Tennis Stadium on the Duke campus in Durham, N.C.
