LOUISIANA-PACIFIC TENNIS CENTER
The Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center is an integral part of the athletic facilities on the University of Portland campus. Its construction, funded by Louisiana-Pacific, a major forest products company based in Portland, was completed in 1985.
The 24,000 square-foot structure includes three indoor courts, offices, locker rooms, a viewing area and a lounge. An outdoor court adjoins the complex. The center is used for intercollegiate matches, team practices, intramurals, and employee and student recreation. It also has been the facility used for the Louisiana-Pacific Juniors Tennis Tournament, staged annually in January for some of the top junior tennis players in the Northwest.
